Setting up a Polar Coach Account

Setting up a Polar Coach Account

Please follow these steps to request to be a participant's Polar Coach or how a participant will accept your Polar Coach Invitation:

  1. If you have your own Polar watch and Polar account, you can log in to your own account and continued to step 4.
  2. If you do not have a Polar account already, go to "Create a free account"
  3. Create a "Group"
  4. Invite your participants via email to that Group via their email that they used for their Polar Flow login

6. Notify your participant's that they have 7 days to accept your Polar Coach invitation

What your participant's will have to do

  1. Go through process of setting up Polar watch and Polar account (see instructions in article "Setting up your Polar A360/370")
  2. Go to https://flow.polar.com/ and login using a desktop or laptop computer (a Polar Coach invite cannot be accepted on a mobile device).
  3. Once logged in, you will see the notifications window at the top right-hand side of your screen as pictured below:

      4. Once your 'Polar Coach' has sent you the invite, you will see a red dot in the notifications window (pictured above). Click on the notifications window and select 'Accept' where prompted.
NOTE:  This invitation will expire after approximately 2-7 days so you will both need to communicate as to when your Coach invites you.  They can resend the invitation at any time.

Once your participants have accepted your invitation, you will be able to view and comment on their activity.
