UMedTech (SKY) Role/Permissions Assignment
This article will explain the purpose for specific Roles and Permissions assigned to each individual user.
Each user accessing the UMedTech portal will be assigned a specific role with relating permissions based upon their relationship with each member.
For example
Relationship:
- New Member is Florence Nightengale
- The Administrative Staff, Jessica Rabbit enrolls a new member.
- That member is schedule for their Initial Evaluation with staff member John Smith, ATC.
- John Smith is supervised by Jane Doe and may also at time cover for John while he is out for vacation, etc.
Roles Assigned to :
- Jessica Rabbit is assigned as the Basic Staff/Admin for Florence
- John Smith is assigned as the Clinical Assistant for Florence
- Jane Doe is assigned as the Clinical Director for Florence
Permissions:
- Jessica Rabbit is able to view, edit, and add information to Florence's UMedTech electronic chart (view survey submissions, view clinician entered data collections, download reports to fax to physician, scan and upload new notes and documents from/about the member, edit information from previous notes on conversations with the member, etc.)
- John Smith is able to view, edit, and add information for Florence's UMedTech electronic chart (view survey submissions, view data collections, download reports, view notes added from Jessica Rabbit, etc.)
- Jane Doe is able to view, edit, and add information to Forence's UMedTech electronic chart (view survey submissions, view data collections, download reports, view notes added from Jessica Rabbit, etc.)
- All other facility staff members will be able to only view information within Florence's chart. Only staff members directly assigned to Florence will be able to edit her chart, download reports, and add new information to her chart. This means that if a staff member other than Jane Doe covers for John Smith while he is out and sees one of his members, they will only be able to view Florence's chart.
- Additional access may be granted with approval from your facility's Clinical Director and by contacting your sites UMED Corporate Administrator: Erin Cannon ecannon@umedtechnology.com
