Target Heart Rate Zone During Exercise

Target Heart Rate Zone During Exercise

NOTE: We want you to be safe during exercise so if your Physician has given you specific restrictions, or you find yourself not feeling safe by following this recommendation, slowly bring your Heart Rate down and notify us as soon as possible.

While using the Training Session or Heart Rate function on your Polar watch, we recommend that you are minimally in the "Green" range with bouts into the "Orange" range as much as you can safely handle.  If your Heart Rate spikes into the "Red" you should try and recover back to a green range or lower orange range and then continue.  PLEASE SEE COLORS AND ACTUAL HR RANGES BELOW:

To determine your HR MaxHRmax = Maximum heart rate (220-age). Example: 30 years old, 220–30=190 bpm.
